Whenever I am down and troubled, I call on my Guardian Angel in the confine of my bedroom to comfort and provide me with my needs. His name in the Book of Angels is Saint Baraquiel, The Good Provider. Like all the angels of God, he is a messenger of love and of the divine. He will not appear before me with wings and shining white raiment but he will send people who will bring me what I need. Some call them friends. I call them my angels in disguise!
Life’s trial is so heavy. Its magnitude is overwhelming that’s why angels are here to help us take it piece by piece one day at a time. I know some people would shrug their shoulders or even laugh, especially the unbelievers, but let me tell you this, angels will not crumble with reason, “but they are more likely to fly for those who believe” and I believe in angels.
Just lately, two of my old-time family friends – Boyet “Talbos Tubo” Marcelo and Tony Caballejo, paid me a surprise visit at home carrying an unexpected “bundle of joy” from City Mayor Vic B. Amante. Without going into the details, we had so much fun discussing things from sweet nothing to significant something. On that same day, our 7 Lakes Press Corps President Sandy Belarmino also sent me another “bundle of joy” putting an end to my problem at the moment. They are my angels in disguise!
I guess Anna Taylor was right. When you are confronted by difficulties of whatever sort, the most productive thing to do is rest and let your angels wrap you in their loving wings. You know why? Angels are having conversations with our souls while we are sleeping. That’s according to one writer whose name is unknown, the reason perhaps why whenever I feel sad and abandoned, friends come unexpectedly after I call on my Guardian Angel.
I have many friends who are not so religious but they are more caring, kind and loving than those kinfolks who professed to be Christians, preaching the words of God and singing praises to the Lord but cannot ‘walk the talk’. I know many could relate to this: that they would not even lift a finger to check if you are still alive. Anyway, if there are angels, there are also demons, so what else is new? In this lifetime, you will see some of your friends on your way down and you will find your true friends when you are already down. They are your angels in disguise!
“The more you trust and believe in angels, the more they will pour their blessings upon you.”
Melinda Bagsic Evangelista
I was born to write and I believe that’s my calling. I love writing because it brings me to the realm exclusively of mine. It is also my opinion that “immortality” can be achieved not by searching for the Holy Grail and drinking from it but by living your life worth-writing or writing something worth-reading. Since I cannot promise you a life worth-writing, I keep myself busy writing something worth-reading. I am thankful to God for giving me the talent and skill to see life in different perspectives not seen by many and the courage to share it to my readers. This first ever Tutubi Digital News Magazine is a perfect avenue to bring you the many facets of life that you can ponder upon in this time of the pandemic. Enjoy reading all the articles.
