Dumating na Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne Border Crossing Station sa Poland ang 13 Filipino evacuues mula sa Ukraine. Sinalubong sila ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. kasama ni Assistant Secretary for European Affairs Jaime Victor Ledda.
Ang mga evacuees ay pinangunahan ni Philippine Ambassador to Poland Leah Basinang-Ruiz, na siyang namamahala sa pagpapauwi ng mga Pilipino sa Ukraine.
“We are on high-alert 24/7 to ensure that Filipinos are safe in this conflict. Our embassies in Poland and Hungary have been working hard these past days to account for each Filipino in Ukraine, and to repatriate them as soon as possible. Our people only need to ask, and we will get them home safe,” ayon kay Locsin.
Hinimok ng DFA ang mga Pilipino na kasalukuyan pang nasa Ukraine na mag-ingat at manatiling mapagbantay.
Pinaalalahanan din sila na makipag-ugnayan kaagad sa Philippine Embassy team sa Lviv o sa Consulate General sa Kyiv kung kailangan nila ng tulong.
