On May 5, 2023, the College of Business Administration and Accountancy at the Laguna State Polytechnic University Santa Cruz Campus organized an insightful event called the “Challenges and Opportunities: Business, Innovation, Management, and Education Conference 2.” Focused on the theme “Building Young Professionals towards their Success,” the conference proved to be a resounding success.

The Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office (DTI Laguna) lent their expertise to the conference, providing two distinguished keynote speakers who shared valuable insights.
Mr. Mark Vincent Arasa, the DTI Laguna Project Coordinator for the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan, took the stage as Keynote Speaker 1. He delved into the realm of technology-based entrepreneurship, emphasizing its profound impact on the business landscape. Keynote Speaker 2, Ms. Portia Sophia Cortezano, the DTI Laguna Trade and Industry Development Analyst for the Negosyo Center Program, captivated the audience with her talk on the landscape of social media marketing and innovation.
