Hindi ako ang susunod na PNP chief: Major General Rhodel Semornia
Iniimbestigahan ng Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group ang umiikot na fake news sa social media na diumano ay si Major General Rhodel Semornia ang susunod na PNP chief.
Nag anunsyo ang fake news sa Facebook ng retirement of honors at change of command ceremony ni Chief PNp Gen. Guillermo Eleazar at sinabing si Semornia ang hahalili sa kanya.
“This is to inform the public that this post never came from us. It is malicious and we take offense from whoever orchestrated this. We believe this is the work of saboteurs who wish to put malice on the President’s upcoming appointment of the new Chief PNP. To those who want to put in harm’s way the candidates for the top most position, I warn you that you will be held accountable for your crime.” ayon kay Semornia.
Si Eleazar ay nakatakdang magretiro sa Nobyembre 3, 2021 sang ayon sa mandatory retirement age na 56.
Kaugnay nito, nakatakda pang ideklara ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kung sino ang hahali kay Eleazar.
