Muling nagsimula ang operasyon ng Philippine National Railways (PNR) Lucena-San Pablo inter-province commuter line noong HUnyo 25. Magpapagaan ito sa paglalakbay at sa paggalaw sa pagitan ng mga lalawigan ng Quezon, Laguna at sa kalaunan sa Bicol.
Siyempre, ito ay isang consistent na paraan ng transportasyon dahil lahat ng mga tren ay sumusunod sa iisang iskedyul at mas malamang na hindi maapektuhan ng mga outside factors katulad ng trapiko o mga insidente sa kalsada.
Bukod sa pinaikling oras ng byahe ay napakamura ng pamasahe sa tren.

Kung sasakay sa istasyon ng San Pablo ay sa loob ng tren magbabayad. Samantalang sa istasyon ng Lucena ay kailangang tumubos ng ticket sa kanilang ticket booth.
Ang San Pablo PR Station ay nasa dulong bahagi ng P. Alcantara St., sa may lugar na tinatawag na Bulante sa may palengke ng San Pablo City. Nasa Barangay 10, sa dulong timog ng sentro ng lungsod ang istasyon ng tren sa Lucena City.
