Nabakunahan ng second booster dose ang 2,100 na indibidwal kahapon, Abril 26, ayon sa pahayag ng Department of Health.
“The National Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC) is continuously collecting and processing vaccination data on the ground. Based on the recent reports as of April 26, 2022 around 2,100 individuals were jabbed with the second booster,” ayon sa DOH.
Sinabi ng DOH na hihintayin nila ang rekomendasyon ng Health Technological Assessment Council (HTAC) para sa pangalawang booster ng mga senior citizen at health worker, at idinagdag na upang matiyak ang “kaligtasan at bisa” ng pangalawang booster para sa mga indibidwal.
“Since these recommendations require careful deliberation and review, it would be best to ensure that recommendations are made after thorough research so that the safety and efficacy of a second booster for these populations are ensured,” dagdag pa nila.
