SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna – Local Organization President Jessa Enrera Estrellado has extended a warm invitation to all members, alumni, and friends to join the 77th anniversary celebration of JCI San Pablo 7 Lakes, the youth leadership organization based in San Pablo City, Laguna. The commemorative event is scheduled for November 14, 2025, at The Coco Palace Hotel (Bar). The day will begin at 6:30 a.m. with a Mass at San Pablo Cathedral, followed by a motorcade, disaster‑preparedness training, oath‑taking ceremony, and an evening fellowship gathering.

Founded on October 3, 1948, and formally installed on November 13 at the City Hall roof garden, the chapter became the third local chapter of Junior Chamber International Philippines. From its early efforts like the “Keep the City Clean Campaign,” which distributed more than 100 trash bins across the city, the chapter has grown to deliver major community development programs. These include the Pag‑Ibig at Pag‑Asa school for children with special needs, a Puericulture Center for mothers and young children, and national-award-winning projects such as “Stop AIDS: Keep the Promise.” The chapter also received Harana, the first cultural award given by JCI Philippines, during the national convention held in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, in 1997. The award recognized the chapter’s contributions to promoting Filipino arts and culture, and Harana was held every August in celebration of Buwan ng Wika.

One of the chapter’s most celebrated recurring projects is Kabyaw sa Kalikasan. This annual mountain‑bike race was first held on May 7 to coincide with San Pablo City’s founding anniversary. The event attracted amateur and professional cyclists from across the Philippines, promoting environmental awareness, fitness, and community engagement. Following the conclusion of the Marlboro Tour, Kabyaw sa Kalikasan has become a key institution for cycling in the country, continuing the city’s sporting tradition and providing a regular platform for both local and national riders while reinforcing JCI San Pablo 7 Lakes’ commitment to sustainability and healthy living.

In recent years, the chapter has expanded its impact through initiatives such as “Planting Hope: Go Green, Breathe Clean,” which planted 110 trees in April 2025 in Barangay San Cristobal, the blood-donation drive “Got Heart,” which collected 56 bags of blood, “Life‑Saving Skills Behind the Walls,” teaching CPR and first aid to incarcerated women, and “Zumbabes 2025,” a women‑empowerment fitness event combining health, wellness, and community spirit.

The 77th anniversary theme, “Lead the Now, Shape the Next 77,” celebrates the chapter’s legacy over seven decades while highlighting its ongoing commitment to leadership, service, and transformative impact. The organization has proudly produced a national president in PJ Estrellado, demonstrating its ability to develop leaders who can shape the nation’s future.

All participants are encouraged to wear the LO (Local Organization) uniform for the day-long activities and join in reconnecting, reminiscing, and celebrating 77 years of dedication to service and leadership. For more information, visit the JCI San Pablo 7 Lakes Facebook page.

See you there for an evening of stories, laughter, and legacy!
