SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna. In the heart of San Pablo City, the sun rose on a special day for the members of JCI San Pablo 7 Lakes as they celebrate their 75th anniversary today.

The day kicked off with a solemn Holy Mass, where members, families, and friends came together to offer gratitude for the 75 years of service, leadership, and positive impact on the community. The echoing prayers and hymns set a tone of reflection and unity as they looked back on the organization’s journey.

Following the spiritual celebration, the streets of San Pablo City came alive with a vibrant motorcade that wound its way through the town. Decked out in colorful banners and flags, the convoy of vehicles proudly displayed the achievements and projects that JCI San Pablo 7 Lakes had accomplished over the years.

As the day progressed, JCI San Pablo 7 Lakes continued its tradition of giving back to the community through various projects. One of the highlights was an eye check-up and eyeglasses donation initiative headed by Dr. Cyrus Constantino. The organization recognized the importance of vision in shaping lives and wanted to ensure that everyone in the community had access to proper eye care.

JCI San Pablo 7 Lakes also unveiled a diverse array of projects to commemorate their 75th anniversary. Notable among these was the “Blue Cap Culture: We Must Protect Boys Just As We Protect Girls” project, a pioneering endeavor aimed at addressing the distinct needs and challenges faced by boys in the community. This initiative underscored the organization’s commitment to comprehensive care and equal opportunities for all.

Moreover, the organization launched the “Happy Children’s Day” project. This initiative went beyond mere festivity, representing a steadfast commitment to the community’s youngest members. “Happy Children’s Day” aimed to advocate for children’s health, ensure proper nutrition, and provide secure shelter.

The evening’s main event—the 76th Induction and Turnover Ceremony. The prestigious affair is set to take place at Cocoland Hotel, Maharlika Highway, San Pablo City. Members, visiting Jaycees and distinguished guests will gather for a night of celebration, awarding, recognition, and the passing of the leadership torch.

During the ceremony, the signing of a twinning agreement will forge new bonds and partnerships, fostering collaboration between JCI San Pablo 7 Lakes and JCI San Pedro Damas, JCI Alabang and JCI Calamba Jose Rizal. This regional connection promised shared experiences, ideas, and a broader impact on a district scale.

Beverly ‘Belai’ Nassif, the incoming president, is ready to take on the responsibilities of leading JCI San Pablo 7 Lakes into its next chapter. A sense of optimism filled the room as she shared her vision for the organization’s future, promising to build on the legacy of the past 75 years.

Dhora Estrellado, the outgoing president, will expected to deliver her heartfelt speech. She will reflect on the organization’s achievements and the positive change they had collectively brought to San Pablo City.

The night is anticipated to be a culmination of memories, achievements, and the enduring spirit of community service. As the clock struck 12, marking the transition from the 75th to the 76th year, JCI San Pablo 7 Lakes looked forward to a future filled with even more impactful projects, unity, and continued dedication to making a difference in the lives of those they served.
