SAN PABLO CITY. Loreto “Amben” S. Amante has been re-elected as the Representative of Laguna’s 3rd District in the 2025 national elections, reaffirming the electorate’s trust in his leadership and commitment to public service.
Running under the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) party, Amante’s victory is attributed to his grassroots approach and the successful implementation of his flagship program, Serbisyong Tama. This initiative focuses on delivering essential services in health, education, livelihood, and employment to constituents across San Pablo City and the municipalities of Alaminos, Calauan, Liliw, Nagcarlan, Rizal, and Victoria.
To enhance accessibility, Amante established satellite offices in Nagcarlan and Calauan, complementing his main district office in San Pablo City. These offices have been instrumental in bringing government services closer to the people, ensuring that every barangay feels represented and supported.
In collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Amante’s office facilitated financial assistance to 801 individuals under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program, demonstrating his commitment to immediate and tangible support for those in need.
Looking ahead, Amante has expressed his intent to advocate for regulations concerning artificial intelligence (AI) to safeguard the interests and safety of his constituents. Recognizing the inevitable integration of AI into various sectors, he emphasizes the need for proactive measures to address potential risks associated with this technology.
In his legislative role, Amante has been active in proposing measures that address both local and national concerns. Notably, he has filed bills aimed at improving education infrastructure, providing universal social pensions for senior citizens, and enhancing food security through waste reduction initiatives.
As he embarks on his second term, Amante remains steadfast in his mission to bring government services closer to the people, uphold transparency, and enact policies that foster inclusive growth and development in Laguna’s 3rd District.
