Sta. Cruz, Laguna. Pinangunahan ng Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) sa pamumuno ni Acting Provincial Director PCOL Rogarth B. Campo ang 2nd Provincial Joint Security Control Center (JSCC) Meeting ukol sa paghahanda sa seguridad para sa nalalapit na national at local Elections (NLE) 2022 kanina, sa Kampo Heneral Paciano Rizal, Brgy Bagumbayan, sa bayang ito.
Idinaos ang pagpupulong kasama ang Commission on Elections (COMELEC), 1st Infantry Brigade (IB) ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Health (DOH), at Philippine Coast Guard.
Tinalakay ni Chief Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) PLtCol. Arnold O. Moleta ang election risk factors. Samantala, ipinaliwanag ni Chief Provincial Operations and Management Unit (POMU) PLtCol. Jephte F. Banderado ang paghahanda sa seguridad ng NLE ng Laguna PPO, ang pangkalahatang-ideya at pagtatanghal ng joint security plan para sa mga transmission lines ng NGCP at ang pagbababa ng joint security plan.
Tinalakay naman ni LtCol. Danilo V. Escandor, Commanding Officer 1st Infantry Brigade (IB), at Coast Guard Lieutenant (Junior Grade) LTJG Mark Anthony Cuevillas, Station Commander Coast Guard Southern Luzon (CGSL) ang kanilang NLE 2022 security preparations.
Gayundin, inilatag ni Atty. Arnulfo H. Pioquinto, Provincial Election Supervisor ang mga paghahanda ng COMELEC para sa NLE 2022.
Nagpasalamat si Pioquinto sa suporta ng mga dumalo para sa iisang layunin na mapanatili ang kapayapaan at kaayusan sa darating na NLE 2022.
“Rest assured that the Omnibus Election Code and PNP Standard Operating Procedures shall be observed by the PNP personnel who shall assist in the COMELEC mock polls and checkpoints. We will also implement COMELEC resolutions and guidelines particularly gun ban, activate information operation drives regarding COMELEC guidelines through PNP social media towards the attainment of a peaceful conduct of the NLE 2022,” ayon kay Campo sa kanyang mensahe.
