Maynila. Sinimulan kanina ang ikalawang yugto ng pagbabakuna sa mga batang edad 12 hanggang 17 sa Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Ospital ng Paranaque at Quezon City General Hospital. Dumalo sa seremonyas sina Undersecretary Roger Tong-an and Department of Interior Local Government Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya. Dumating din sina Mayor Zamora, Mayor Olivares, and Mayor Joy Belmonte Sa mga ospital na nasa kani kanilang lugar ng nasasakupan.
Ipinaliwanag ng DOH na ang mga yugto ng pagbabakuna na kasalukuyang isinasagawa ay kasama sa pag aaral sa pagbubuo ng sistema at istratehiya sa rollout ng pediatric vaccination sa iba’t ibang rehiyon.
Ang mga nabanggit na ospital ay pinili ng DOH, NVOC at LGUs na gawing vaccination sites para sa mga bata sapagkat ang mga ito ay may kapasidad na mamahala ng pasyente sakaling magkaroon ng masamang epekto ang bakuna.
