It’s now September – the first of the “BER” months. You know what that means, right? That means the Christmas season has arrived in the Philippines. It has certainly arrived and can be felt in the city of San Pablo, Laguna.
The start of the Christmas season is especially evident at Paseo de San Pablo – an outdoor commercial plaza replete with pretty much everything you can ask for. It’s got restaurants, an arcade, and refuge for small business owners. Each and everyone of them has started to decorate their respective stalls with Christmas decorations. The ambiance is slowly and surely giving life to the theme “Winter Wonderland”. It is a place where the entire family can pass the time and have fun.
Paseo de San Pablo Winter Wonderland is the one-stop shop for Christmas fun; for starters, the festive village is home to many attractions, games, and food and drink offerings. Flickering Christmas lights are everywhere. Towering Christmas trees are now on display decorated by colorful lanterns and other festive decor.
Mayor Vicente Amante and Mayora Gem Castillo marked the start of the season with the ceremonial turning on of the colorful Christmas lights.
According to Ms. Castillo, the reopening of the Paseo de San Pablo after its closure due to the pandemic, has given back life to the city. “It will also help boost Tourism in San Pablo,” opined Ms. Castillo.
Paseo de San Pablo is Winter Wonderland – Filipino style. Come see it for yourself. It is located at F. Amante Drive, San Jose, Malamig, San Pablo City.
Attending the shop fair at Paseo de San Pablo is a great opportunity to support local businesses and get that Christmas list sorted. Visitors can enjoy over 50 stalls selling exclusive and desirable gifts for Christmas at affordable prices.
