Asahan ang iba’t ibang galaw sa presyo ng fuel sa susunod na linggo

MAYNILA — Dapat asahan ng mga motorista ang iba’t ibang galaw sa retail prices ng petroleum na ipatutupad sa susunod na linggo.

Ayon kay Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau Assistant Director Rodela Romero, batay sa industry estimates mula sa Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) trading sa nakalipas na apat na araw, narito ang inaasahang adjustments sa presyo ng fuel:

  • Gasoline: humigit kumulang na P0.50 kada litro
  • Diesel: tinatanyang P0.50 kada litro
  • Kerosene: humigit kumulang na P1.35 kada litro

“Final estimate will happen after the Friday’s MOPS trading,” ani Romero.

Ipinaliwanag ng opisyal na ang global crude oil prices ay nagpakita ng mixed movements nitong nakalipas na apat na araw dahil sa supply, demand, at geopolitical factors.

“There’s an oversupply as signals from OPEC+ and weak global economic indicators and modest rebound driven by heightened geopolitical risks especially due to the sanctions imposed to Russia, Iran and Venezuela,” dagdag niya.

Ayon sa DOE, ang mga oil firms ay nag-aanunsyo ng official price adjustments tuwing Lunes, na ipinatutupad sa sumunod na araw.

Epektibo noong Martes, Nobyembre 18, nagtaas ang mga oil companies ng presyo ng gasoline at diesel ng P1.20 kada litro bawat isa. Walang adjustment sa kerosene, na nananatili sa ilalim ng nationwide price freeze kasunod ng deklarasyon ng state of national calamity.
