QUEZON CITY | The Social Security System (SSS) is preparing to integrate its digital MySSS Card and selected membership services into the government’s eGovPH superapp, allowing members to access their identification and key contribution records through a single digital platform.
The initiative follows a data-sharing agreement signed on October 21, 2026, by Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Robert Joseph M. de Claro and SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Victor Alfonso A. Limlingan in Quezon City.
Under the planned integration, SSS members will be able to view the front-facing digital representation of their MySSS Card through eGovPH, alongside other government identification documents available on the platform. They will also be able to check their contribution history, total number of contributions, latest membership classification and most recent employer information.
SSS said the additional services will allow members to verify whether their contributions have been properly posted and check their employment and membership records without having to access separate applications for these basic transactions.
Limlingan described the partnership as a major step toward making social security services more accessible, emphasizing that members should not have to visit multiple government offices or navigate different applications to obtain essential information.
The integration is also expected to benefit freelancers, online professionals and other digital workers who need convenient access to social security services and information about their contributions.
The partnership builds on the government’s broader effort to modernize public service delivery through eGovPH, a centralized digital platform developed by the DICT. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. formally launched the superapp on July 18, 2025, bringing together government transactions and services, including identification, licensing and payment facilities.
According to the Philippine Information Agency, the platform had already consolidated 70 government service modules and processed more than 200 million transactions at the time of its July 2025 launch, with 14 million unique users reported by the DICT.
The MySSS Card, meanwhile, is the SSS’s official functional identification card equipped with an EMV chip, replacing the older Unified Multi-Purpose Identification (UMID) card. According to the SSS, it can also serve as a linked bank account for receiving benefits, loans and other payments. Its issuance involves identity verification through the Philippine Identification System.
While the SSS already provides online membership and contribution records through its MySSS mobile application, the planned eGovPH integration will offer members another access point within the government’s expanding digital services network.
However, the SSS and DICT have yet to announce a specific date for the new features to become available to the public. Until the integration is implemented, members may continue using existing SSS digital channels.
Limlingan said the agreement reflects the agency’s commitment to the government’s goal of bringing public services together through one platform, with technology playing a central role in delivering faster, more secure and member-centered services.
