SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna | October 19, 2026 | PLDT subscribers in several parts of Laguna reported losing their internet connection on Sunday evening, October 18, with some users saying their service went down at around 6 p.m.

Reports posted in a public online discussion mentioned Biñan, San Pablo City and Calamba. One subscriber said three PLDT connections in Laguna lost internet access at nearly the same time, while others reported similar interruptions and difficulty reaching customer service.

The accounts suggest that the disruption may have affected multiple subscribers, but the full extent and duration of the reported outage have not been independently established. The reports are user-generated and do not, by themselves, confirm a province-wide service interruption.

As of publication, no official PLDT statement confirming the cause of the reported interruption had been established. It also remains unclear whether the incident resulted from a network fault, damaged infrastructure or another technical issue.

PLDT subscribers experiencing continued service problems may check their repair-ticket status through the company’s official PLDT Tracker or contact customer service through its hotline at 171.

There has been no official confirmation of the extent of the reported internet outage, its cause, or the exact time service was restored.
